Home for Thanksgiving!

Some how Josh has talked his therapist into letting him out earlier. They will bring Josh to the house on Monday morning to do a home evaluation. They need to see how he will function here and what type of equipment he will need. Then they said he could come home on Tuesday or Wednesday. I am excited for him to come home, I just hope he is ready. His therapists are really good so I am sure they will know if he is ready. Crazy how much things can change over night. He really is doing very well, they had him walking all over the place today. They even had him down in the OT room stepping in and out of the tub. It will be nice to have him home, finally!

I have spent much of my day cleaning so that the house will be ready for Monday, The kids have helped out a lot. I want to finish in the house tomorrow and do some yard word. I don't want Josh to feel like there are things he needs to do. I am thankful Josh has worked so hard and that he will be home soon! Again, thank you to everyone for all that has been done for our family, Love Denise

  1. I am speechless and amazed at the same time. Also I'm very very grateful to God for all he has done to get Josh to this point. If not for God there would be no Josh to be doing anything or going anywhere. I too would like to thank everyone who has helped in ANYWAY on behalf of Josh and his family. May God bless you and yours always. Josh's Mother

  2. Sunday November 20th,
Today in primary Camden said his testimony. He raised his hand and when called on he went right up to the microphone. With no fear at all, he said he was happy that his dad was coming home. He also said that he knows it was not just the doctors that helped him to get better, but it was the power of prayer. He then said, my dad says he misses his kids. Of course, he made me cry. Thanks Camden for sharing your testimony of prayer. I too know that prayer has played a big part of bringing Josh home. Listening to Joshes little two year old Asher pray for his dad is precious. I am great full for a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers our prayers. Love Mechelle Kemp
