Graduation

Well it looks like tomorrow Josh will be graduating from the ICU! Today has been 4 weeks, a long time, it is starting to feel like family here. I will miss everyone, they have taken good care of us. Tomorrow at 10 am they will transport Josh by ambulance to the airport, from there we will fly to Salt Lake City, then an ambulance will take us to Promise at LDS hospital. Dr. Taub said that the doctor there is good, he has worked with him before. I hope once we are there and they have had time to check him out and his history that they will be able to give us an idea of how long they will have to keep him. Today they were planning on draining some fluid around his lungs but said that there was not enough to do anything and that it will take care of its self. He sat up in the cardiac chair today and he seems stronger every time he does, he started to slide out a little so he wasn't in it as long as before.

At this point it will be a little harder to take it one day at a time. I will have to plan a little so that I have time with both Josh and the kids. It is hard for me to think days ahead, I just never know what is happening. Josh will be in good hands the times that I am away from him, but it will still be hard. I will enjoy the time I have to spend with the kids, I hope to spend some quality time with them if they are not to busy to hang out with mom. These changes are good but hard, thanks so much to everyone who is helping to keep things going as smooth as possible for our family. I truly don't know what I would do without all of the help. Thank you! Much love, Denise
