Where is my phone?

Ooops! I left it in St George, I did actually think about grabbing it but I didn't have a lot of time to pack and forgot it, sorry sweetie.  Josh made me look up the # to St George Steel so he could call and let them know he will be back, I am pretty sure they were happy to hear his voice. Talking on the phone was a huge step for him, he is able to focus really well today. Josh has made a lot of progress today. It started last night when he didn't have to be put on the bipap machine, his lungs are getting stronger. Then early this morning before I was totally awake I heard him gagging. I jumped up and found that he had unbuckled his restraint and pulled out his feeding tube again! I asked him what he thought he was doing and he said that he was just getting rid of some of the tubes he didn't need anymore! I convinced them to let him try eating before they decided to put it back in and he did great, he had a little pancake, bacon, fruit and some oj for breakfast.  So no more feeding tube, unless he doesn't eat enough, but I think he will be fine. PT today was good he did a lot more than before and he is using his left arm. He was able to put his own socks on and he went outside in a wheelchair for a little while. He worked really hard at PT today and he was really tired after. He wants to go home and he is determined to get strong enough to go back.

I am happy with all that happened today, if things keep going at this rate we will be home in no time. I am counting down the days until the kids come up. Asher was really cute answering the door for the trick or treaters at my mom's this evening. Every time he would hear them coming he would say I'm coming and then he would look at their costume and if he liked it he would give them m&m's if he didn't care for it to much they got an almond joy, silly boy. I really missed being there with the other kids. Josh new it was Halloween when he woke up this morning, very good that he new. Thanks so much to everyone who made it a good Halloween for my kids. Happy Halloween, Loves Denise
